This makes no sense given all the information that is out there. But we're dealing with an incompetent admin so who knows? If Ed Orgeron is named head coach without exhausting all other legit options, LSU football is dead to me. They can all frick off and I will only consider coming back once all the assholes from F King and Alleva on down are swept out of the door at LSU.

Bottom line
1) Jimbo and Sexton played us for leverage
2) Herman wanted UT from the jump, still appears to be that way.
3) coach O was always next in line to the admin
To me they didn't go get their guy and just decided to take no for an answer
