Thats good for him! I don't think everybody knows he will not come back to LSU. He had the job and decided to go to Auburn. Why would he want to come back to LSU?

he is defineitly a wild man on the sidelines but u guys give that to much . hes good hes not great he might be one day but not now ,imo

I've said before and I'll say it again. Muschamp is a helluva defensive coordinator and defensive coach. One of his biggest strengths is that he stays on the sidelines and when the Auburn offense is on the field, he is over by the benches coaching his defensive players.
At some point in time he may make a good head coach, but if he takes that job, some of what makes him great will have to go away just by definition of the job.
As a head coach he will have to manage the game, and have his head on both sides of the ball. He can't stop paying attention to what is happening on the field just because his team has the ball. His actual "coaching" would have to be limited strictly to the practice field and film rooms.

According to Chuck Oliver, GIT powers that be told Radicovich they didnt want a UGA guy coaching GIT. Personally I dont know why they fired Chan, bowl game every year at that school is a great coaching job. Once every 7-10 years he will get them to 10 wins. What more do they want?

Tech wants to be a power in the ACC. They seem to forget that they are an engineering school with extremely high academic standards.
Tech can be good - see 1990 - but they will never turn into an annual powerhouse. It would be like Vandy becoming an annual SEC power.
Not sure if you saw Gailey's interviews after he was fired. he said he is probably the only coach to be fired from an NFL job where he went to the playoffs every year and a college job where the team went to a bowl every year.
I had a feeling the Tech boosters wouldn't want a UGA guy as head man, it would be like one of the Rocker brothers being hired at Bama.
