why should LSU put themselves in a position to have to constantly be looking for an OC?

Because that means your offense and your OC is excelling. Would you rather mediocre results? Bama is exchanging out coordinators ever 2-3 years and winning championships.

That's why I shake my head when the pro-O crowd says "All we need to do is hire a great OC and DC." If you have a top level head coach who can manage a staff properly, you can interchange coordinators seamlessly.

You think they are sweating about losing Kiffin? He's the hottest OC in CFB and they know there will be no drop off.

Personally I think Helfrich would be a great hire but LSU shouldn't feel the need to overpay for him. I don't think Moscana really knows what's up right now. As much as I'd love for Lane to stay, I think this is it one way or the other. But I don't know. Nobody seems to know what's really going on.

Ponamsky will be the real one to blame next year when we go 7-5

What I am completely shocked about and still can't believe LSU will let this happen, is that derek ponamsky is actually employed at LSU. This guy is a CONVICTED FELON and he is involved with the LSU football program. The single biggest revenue generator at LSU other than student dues and this arse-clown is involved.

All I am saying is that Orgeron couldn't find another candidate that was qualified that isn't a convicted felon? I am truly amazed.
