Mooch to the Cardinal?

Stanford will need new guy and has hired ex NFL guys (Walsh). Mooch went to Michigan once before and didn't turn out welll. He has a name out there (49'ers and Cal) and is recognizable. Also Stanford is better situation right now and can get kids that can run his systems.

Not sure he's looking for another coaching gig. He seems to like his NFL Network gig.
If Luck really is coming back, Stanford has talent and wouldn't be a bad job for someone to take for a year to try to get a big job.

And he just won the UA high school all-star game, so he's on an upswing...

I'm not sure if he is looking actively. But I would think he would listen if they called. He would be s great hire there.

Peterson from Boise would be a perfect fit at Stanford. He and his wife are from Norcal...coached at UC Davis before Boise St.
