To be honest, if there’s an agreement with LSU, we don’t know when it goes into effect. We know who Lane is as a coach. We know if he’s in the bag, there’s distractions from the AD down to the long snapper. A loss is a loss and anything moving forward with Ole Miss means squat. If they lose the Egg Bowl that drops their ranking and gives them a tougher playoff first game and increases their chances of getting bounced and to LSU quicker.

If Lebby continues being a dumbass and starting and playing Shapen most of the snaps, we lose bigly.
If he actually plays the good QB, we have a good shot. And no this isn’t a “the backup QB’s always better” thing. There’s a ton of data showing that Kamario is out playing Shapen by a large margin. Except Lebby is either too stupid and/or arrogant to see it.

I don’t hold out much hope for an upset, but rivalry games are funny things.

Hallowell also beat Tulane at Tulane. Ron Hunter makes $1.8MM and UNO beat TCU at TCU. Jamie Dixon makes $4.2/MM.
Just shows that overpaying for the hot name in coaching doesn't mean the best hire.
