Yeah that's what Ace is getting at. It's like advocates of minority coaches all want to make candy canes, except that no one bothers to cultivate the sugar needed to make candy canes beforehand. Sugarless candy canes = suck!

My thoughts exactly. How can you force interviews with a very limited pool to choose from? You need to build up the pool, not force interviews. It just leads to 'token' interviews instead of serious inquiries.

How many ADs are black? Do they hire blacks? NMSU has a black AD and he hired Mumme and now fired him. He is to interview a couple of blacks, but neither have a long coaching history. I would like to know how many and who they hire.
