Yeah that's what Ace is getting at. It's like advocates of minority coaches all want to make candy canes, except that no one bothers to cultivate the sugar needed to make candy canes beforehand. Sugarless candy canes = suck!

There shouldnt be forcing to interview a minority. However, there should be programs to encourage cultivation of minority graduate assistants. That is how you increase minority coaches.

How many ADs are black? Do they hire blacks? NMSU has a black AD and he hired Mumme and now fired him. He is to interview a couple of blacks, but neither have a long coaching history. I would like to know how many and who they hire.
