Even if he loves LSU and winds up staying, he owes to himself (and maybe Michigan) to sit down and hear them out. At the very least, he should be able to leverage it into something from LSU.

Really now?
I think Chicken should put a banner up reading:
"If It's Been Out For 20 Minutes, It's Been On Here"

I check this damn site non stop and I appreciate the link, Germans or not.
I hope he stays. While he pisses me off sometimes I have grown to appreciate Les.
I also, however, feel that Les is compensated fairly for the job he does and no addition compensation should be offered.

Love the reply.

On this situation specifically Why anyone still trusts some rumor from an ESPN employee is beyond me given how wrong they have been on this in the past.
The worst part is, the crazies are really coming out of the woodwork now. The faction of the fan base that, for whatever reason, stil despises Miles sees this as their last opportunity to get rid of him and are starting all sorts of crazy rumors.
Hell, according to some boards, Bo Pelini to LSU was a “done deal” less than 24 hours ago.
I went through this BS in ’07 and I refuse to do it again.

He's gone. Deal w/ it. Every indication is that LSU will hire Pelini. Keep in mind, this is for head FOOTBALL coach, not professor of etiquette. For those of you who don't know, football is a physical, violent game. It involves long, hard hours of practice. People who excel at playing football, and coaching it, are sometimes gruff, headstrong, emotional, tough. I'm tired of the jet set's infatuation w/ a violent sport that they know nothing about. Ditch the luxury boxes and give the seats back to the real FANS who stay in the seats til the end of the game, rain or shine, cold or not. Pelini has heart, he's tough, Bo knows football, if he's the guy, by God he's my alma mater's coach and I'll surely give him a chance to do his thing w/o already harping on him. Good grief!

I think we all know Miles was actually going to sit down and talk with Michigan--no surprise there.
I am NOT as convinced as some that it means his leaving is inevitable.
Miles is a "heart" guy and his alma mater means a lot to him--but hell, he's loaded at LSU next season.
Whatever happens--Brandon and Les ...
shite OR GET OFF THE POT!!!
We have a monster recruiting class for which we need to try to get a new staff in place and minimize the damage.
