Lets send Miles to Dallas so we can get the next Hallman or Archer.

I could definitely see him happening. And I could see him being successful. Who knows if it would be good or bad for our program. Unfortunately, it would happen in January at the earliest. Which would definitely hurt our recruiting.

Jerry Jones was on the radio Monday here in Dallas talking about Les Miles.
Said he had "two dogs in the fight" referring to the LSU/Ark game.
Spoke about how Les was his TE coach for a while and obviously thinks very highly of him.
Wade Phillips contract ends this season, so anything's possible.

That sounds like Dallas and would be a baddddddddd move

If this is a real possibility it would probably come at the worst possible time for LSU
Right now Dallas is still in the hunt and they are not going to fire Phillips when that would disrupt their own playoff run
If they fire Phillips and hired Miles it would be too late for LSU to move on a Patterson, Kelly, Harbaugh, or maybe even a Tubberville

so many haters in this thread it's pitiful.
I don't think Les would go to the NFL but could see Jerry making a offer.
other tidbit from that site:
heard this a couple times yesterday too, hmmmmmmmm

Miles would probably do very well in the NFL.

Drive an eighteen-wheeler full of cash up to Bill Cowher's front door. If he still says no, drive it over to Chuckie's house.

FWIW, i don't want to see Miles go. Just thought that it was odd for Jerry Jones to spend time on Dallas radio talking about Les Miles

didn't mean it directly to you Dober.
Me either, don't want to get on the coaching merry-go round right now. I think Miles is thought more highly of out of LA than in
not that Jerry's track record is very strong

Could be true, Jones loves weak, less knowledgable "front men" as head coaches that he can tell what to do and when to do it!. It's as close to him being the coach without having to do the work, just call teh shots from his booth.
Makes sense

Like Jimmy Johnson?

Thanks for proving my point, Johnson was run off because he ISN'T like that, thats why they clashed, it was an ego thing and Jones had NO power of JJ!
Dallas was dominant and so was Johnson's personality, Jones wasn't the focus and it kills him!
