Time for another "damn strong football team" speech followed by another championship.

Oh, and 1 of 11 candidates, GTFO

And Saban has never committed to a team for longer than 5 years his entire career. If he stays at Bama they will have had him the longest than any other team. Saban has always followed the money trail. I truly believe that if Southern University came up with $1 more than what Alabama would pay him then he would be gone in a heartbeat.

I don't believe OSU was anywhere close to as stacked as this LSU team will be next year.

Seems like the gumps have latched onto this since the smoke for Saban to Texas has been getting thicker.

.500 against OU is plenty fulfilled, and that was prior to all of the boone pickens cash infusion.

I wouldn't blame Miles if he went to Miami just like I didn't blame Saban.

- NFL job

- more money and no state income tax in Florida

- you get to live in beautiful south Florida compared to this trash can called Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge is my hometown. I don't appreciate you calling it a trash can. No one told you to stay here. Why don't you cross the border into Mexico and have fun with some gangs over there Poncho ?

I actually think Miles would make a good NFL coach. Not a huge disciplinarian like Saban so he won't clash with players as much and an overall fun guy to play for who takes risks. Imagine his trickery in the NFL.

Not really, I've been following this situation closely.

quote:

ickens' gift helped build the west end zone at Boone Pickens Stadium, a multi-purpose indoor practice complex, new soccer, track and tennis facilities, a new equestrian center, a new baseball stadium and new outdoor practice fields. During the 2003 football season, OSU broke ground on a $260 million upgrade to Boone Pickens Stadium which included a brick exterior by Wilks Masonry Corporation, to match the modified Georgian architecture of the OSU campus, and a connection to the Gallagher-Iba Arena. The stadium turf was replaced in 2005. Boone Pickens Stadium was the second NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision program to install the Desso Sport System's Football Pro Artificial Grass Surface. The first installation was at University of Wyoming's War Memorial Stadium, also in 2005.

They got the practice facilities and stadium upgrades out of it. They haven't built the Athletic Village yet, but Boone is gonna take care of it. Trust me.
