Makes sense.

But with a proven defensive coach like Stoops, I doubt Pelini would get too involved. He doesn't want to have to worry about the defense, and he wouldn't have to with Stoops.

Why would a top flight D coordinator want to team up with a quick strike offense that will leave his D on the field all day?

Why does everyone believe this is the offense that TAMU will play, this was not the offense Sumlin ran while @ OU. He will run a balanced offense.

give the D more room for error. this combo has worked out pretty well for OU since 2001

Would be a fantastic DC hire. Yet another staff which would make Tennessee's staff look like the WAC trash that it is.
