Mike Bellotti

I know many of you have an east-coast bias and laugh at the Pac-10, but why not consider Mike Bellotti when Les Miles leaves? He has had Oregon in contention for the BCS championship game twice in recent years. Remember a few years ago when Nebraska went to the championship game instead of Oregon when they didn't even win the Big XII north? This year Oregon was on their way to New Orleans before Dennis Dixon (and then Brady Leaf) went down. And in case you forgot, his former offensive coordinator is currently the OC here at LSU. Everybody is pleased with Gary Crowton this year, but Oregon's offense has been far more explosive this year than in the past without him. That's Mike Bellotti's doing.
