Tucker’s Sparty team is ranked 130th in pass defense…. Dead arse last in the Country!!
He coached DB’s at Bama.

His team is 9-1 with eight pointless wins over nobody teams.

Trams with a pulse he is 1-1 win over Michigan and got throttled by Purdue.

What exactly is it about him that says “Hire Me!”

And MSU supposed about to make him the 2nd highest paid coach in the Country…. Sexton is a genius

And it's not like the Big 10 is a great passing league outside of Ohio State.

Is today Mel Tucker day yet again? It seems we’ve come full circle.

I'm not saying Michigan St. has a great passing defense, but that ranking is very misleading due to a weird statistical anomaly.

For whatever reason, opponents have thrown 479 passes against Michigan State this year, which is 50 more pass attempts than anyone else in college football (the next highest team is Hawaii). The closest P5 team is Ohio St. at 379, which is 100 fewer pass attempts.

If you look at Michigan St.'s defensive passing efficiency (which is a much more useful stat IMO), they're ranked #56. Their defensive yards per passing attempt is 6.87, which isnt that far away from Alabama (6.71). Both stats are still pretty average, but they aren't nearly as alarming as their overall passing yardage stats would indicate.

Nobody within LSU are even hinting at hiring him. Calm down and take your hood and robes off.

Yeah because that’s the only possible reason people wouldn’t want him as a coach.
