He is a defensive guy. But yes, I think that would be a good hire for them.

I don't think he would leave Utah.
Whittingham has been at Utah either as HC or as an assistant for the past 15 years. He has lived and worked out west all his life. He is mormon and went to school at BYU. Moreover, his wife and her family are from Utah. He has coached at only two other schools: Eastern Utah and BYU.
