My rumor, speculation, and innuendo from a low level baller in the area at a Christmas party is that he ran into Jokisch (I forget which one) yesterday who was a roommate with Harbaugh at Michigan and they have four or five "home runs" lined up, but Harbaugh is pretty much a sealed deal.

must have been too late for everyone to enjoy so I'll requote it

and, oh,

Why in the world is sean Payton on that list?

Because if he doesn't take a different job he'll be fired in 12 months.

I commented. Like I said the only way for that to happen is if Harbaugh has a 0% chance of becoming the coach of the Los Angeles Raiders.

We do have a chance at Harbaugh, despite what you guys believe

Well, I "have a chance" of winning the lottery too.

You do realize that Harbaugh is the first NFL head coach to have reached a conference championship game in each of his first three seasons, 2011-2013, right?

Who knows what will happen, but I am thinking there might be a few NFL teams wanting a shot at Harbaugh as well if he leaves SF.

You guys remind me of some LSU fans who think Nick would return if only we would get rid of Miles.

I'm not sure what kind of circles you run in, but I don't know anybody who thinks this.

UM is a hot garbage job. No one in his right mind would want to step in to that antiquated quagmire of a job. It's a job where coaches go to die.

Payton makes $8M a yr. Hoke was getting only a bit over $2M as I recall. Yes, right, he'll take a $6M paycut.

It's not even worth defending Michigan anymore, or our coaching search process. Facts and rumors are out there alike, and no matter how you try to dissuade someone, they're going to choose what they want to believe.

Rich Rod failed miserably there but then got his Arizona team in the PAC 12 championship game in no time. Pac 12 is a whole lot tougher than Big 10.

Miles thinks it's the pearly gates of heaven. That should tell you something.

Sean payton will not go anywhere. He is signed $8m through 2018.

It is really supid to think about he will go to michigan. This really tells you those web sites just trying to publish some shite to get the clicks.

As i said, harbough no 1. Les no 2. The fact they have not come out to deny the speculation is evidence they are looking at it at least.

the utah, boston guys are eliminated from the list long time ago. they may be the next saban. but michigan does not have time to try them. michigan need a proved winner.
