Sure, I'll bite.
Where in those reports were unsubstantiated reports from 2nd hand sources about what the infraction entailed? Because that is what the Reveille's article contained.
If they had secondary confirmation it was not mentioned. If they talked to someone with direct knowledge, that wasn't mentioned either. THey got ahaid of themselves in their desire to break a story. But they are still in college and still learning.

The bashing of the Reveille wasn't based on whether or not McCarthy had committed a violation or whether or not he'd be here at the end of the year. Both of those facts were widely known by most here.
The issue at hand was whether or not the specific allegations of paying players was going on...based on an unnamed "former player". That was where the Reveille bashing came from.
Somehow, you weren't able to understand that I guess.
