Passing yards is not really a great way to judge a passing game in a vacuum.

Pretty dumb actually.

Is this better?

Completion percentage under Canada -

2012 - 77th (58.4%)
2013 - 71st (58.5%)
2014 - 63rd (58.8%)
2015 - 53rd (59.6%)
2016 - 66th (58.6%)

Passing efficiency under Canada -

2012 - 61st (134.71)
2013 - 92nd (119.24)
2014 - 50th (134.90)
2015 - 70th (128.37)
2016 - 11th (158.07)

What is it about these results that screams "elite"?

I never said he was good or bad. I'm just playing devil's advocate.

He's overrated on this board.

I don't think he would be considered a top 10 OC anywhere outside of this website.

How fitting that after firing Miles, we hire two coaches in Orgeron and Canada, neither of which has any talent for producing a competent passing attack.

One season where he's had an offense better than mediocre. Sounds like a solid offensive mind to me. Make that hire!

He pitches the ball fwd a lot (fwd laterals) which is technically a pass. It pads his completion ratio.

I remember when Jefferson did that once. It was a completion. Fo sho.

Lulz to anyone who takes stats in a vacuum and determines a coach's ability from it. I have already posted why that is misleading.

Also, can you link where you are getting your information from please.
