Matt Canada Broyles Award Speech

I know there are several strings about Matt Canada but I found his Broyles nominee Speech link.
If you are bored and want to check this out it's just over 6 minutes long.
Other than his general offensive success things I liked:
- he did this in only one year at Pitt- early success and no roots there so he'd likely jump for more money. He does have kids and a fiance, so presumably he's not too rooted with them
- he did this never having worked with any of the position coaches before, so I think he'd be willing to move to LSU and keep some position coaches.
- he gives his current head coach credit for letting him input his offense with little interference- remarkably similar to what O promises o I think he'd listen.
- his offense led the nation in red zone efficiency
Question marks:
- Not sure about his QB development, which I'm sure is something O is after, and
- while he has a track record of winning everywhere he hasn't consistently shown at one place- maybe that's from moving around or maybe he can't maintain success?
Overall, from watching the video I get the Aranda vibe- young cerebral driven coach. If we were to hire him I'd be happy!

I am fine with Canada and Helfrich. I think CLEARLY, these are the best two options that we have.

He will be the Indiana HC

would he leave Pitt after one year?
the timing for both parties has to work
Kiffin while a great hire has issues in terms of how long he would stay
I am just so beyond ready to get this staff in place
I didn't want O, but we got O and I am want him to be Mega successful and the best way to do that is he get the best available!
I am tired of almost and finishing 2nd
The goal line failure against Florida kind of illustrates our frustrations as a program...
Should have won handily, find a way to finish 2nd
so much potential it'criminal we waste our talent

Not sure about his QB development
Check out what he did with failed Florida QB J. Brissett while at NC State.

Who developed Matt Flynn?
He had one outstanding season at LSU ... as a redshirt senior.
LSU won the national championship that year ... 2007.
As a sophomore and junior ... his QB coach was the one and only ...
JIMBEAUX!

Find it interesting how he talks about being given the freedom at Pitt
Makes you wonder how big of a factor that was at past jobs and could explain why he's moved around so much
