Don't know if anyone cares but it just broke that Mark Stoops, younger brother of Bob and Mike, will be the next defensive coordinator at Florida State. Seems like a strange move. Why would you leave your brother at Arizona for the same position at another school? Oh well, at least now Jimbo will leave Kirby and Sal alone.

to be his own man not under the thumb of another defensive minded guy. Worked for Muschamp, if Smart had confidence that he could pull it off he'd do the same.

why? because most assume that mike is the defacto DC. If he goes to FSU and does well it sets him up for a HC job in the near future.
