He is the Head Coach for the University of Northern Iowa, hes had great success there and almost beat Iowa. I think some Midwest teams should look at him for the Head Coaching and/or Defensive Coordinator position

Farley is a UNI guy and that is his dream job. He isnt leaving. Plus he doesnt want to make same mistake TA did.

Farley is a UNI grad, UNI assistant, played for Mudra, coached with TA. His staff is a lot of former UNI guys. Iowa is not a place he would go and the animosity between the 2 schools wont allow it. TA was probably the only UNI guy that could have made the transition.
Mudra instilled a hate from UNI to Iowa. Earle Bruce wasnt around long enough to keep it. TA (Terry Allen) rebuilt what Mudra started, complete with attitude. Dunbar was like Bruce, and Farley is a combination of Mudra and TA.

What about the Kansas job(if it opens up in the future)? He was the LB coach there once

He has hard feeling of what happend there with Allen. They fired TA in mid year and told him to leave. KU and Williams screwed over that staff.

I worked with some guys that was at KU when it went down. I have known TA since 1989. I also know a lot of former UNI coaches, as they came to work where I was on staff starting in 92 and stayed until 199, when Miller got fired from SMS.
Plus UNI and SMS were bitter rivals, its starting to heat up again as TA is now at SMS as HC. So UNI has Bear Week and SMS has Panther Week for that game.
