that 1994 picture doesnt' bother me in the least. JMO.

Now, Mack is clearly backed into a corner and he's now fighting like it. Seems like Mr. Brown can really muck up the works of The Program and his threats are NOT hollow as seemingly evidenced by the backing off of all involved.

Dude is fighting for his livelyhood, and I can't fault a man for that. UT seems to have been playing dirty pool and the guy bowed up.

The football program seems to be a ship without any direction at the moment.

You fail to meet expectations and people will tend to look at other options. That's how the real world works. Mack can go frick himself. If anything he's lucky not to have gotten the boot in 2011 or '12.

I agree yet he remains. Exactly how big must the skeletons be for an underperforming coach to remain?

eh, I don't really buy that. Everyone cheats. Mack obviously has powerful friends in Austin, reminds me of the Nutt situation in Arkansas circa 2006-07.

Exactly. You know Mack knows where all the bodies are buried in Austin. He threatens to make some of the skeletons public, and voila! He's coaching another year. He wants to be the winningest coach in Texas history. A good year next year could do that for him.

now Chip Brown can't even say he was misquoted.

He can have fun getting a press pass next year

quote:

Brown's blaming of press leaks was merely his way of trying to take down myself and Orangebloods.com, because we've never bought into Brown's control-the-message obsession.

that was pulled directly from an article he wrote.

Dude is nuts.

Why people believed ANYTHING Chip Brown "reported" all week was the real laugher to me. He has never been credible and often takes a shot in the dark, declares he has the "scoop", and then when it turns out to be 100% wrong, he pretends he never said it.

Take a gander at Chip's history of "insider information".

Dude is the definition of hack.
