Yeah because it is impossible to fathom the most infamous coach in CFB right now might be the focus of the CCB

In fairness, he's most infamous for being gone, and he not gone.

Just getting home, but after all the hoopla, it sounds like:
1.The UT boosters don't have as much say so as they think they do when it comes to whether Mack stays or goes.
2. Mack and his yes-men hold the power and therefore only Mack decides when he stays or goes.
3. Mack told everyone how the cow eats the cabbage today and Sexton relayed this to Saban in waiting, who in turn, went ahead and signed his contract.
4. Shaggybevo melted down during the awards tonight and we have no good melt to witness.

Is that about right?

Well I'm sure his friends and maybe even some of his family care about him, but no one else does. Certainly no Texas fans do.

It's still pretty fluid.

Apparently, he just placed a huge chunk of cash into Myspace so he's now 145 million dollars in debt.

Stanford has now entered the bidding for Saban to be Shaw's DB coach.

Nick is going to be so deep in the hole he is going to need Exxon or Apple to start a college football program.

All the LSU(and Texas fans) fans assume that the pattern of events went Mack deciding he was staying, so that became no offer for Saban; and then Saban extended with Bama. This what Texas would like you to believe, and they are probably pushing this story.

They completely rule out the (more likely) possibility that Saban decided to extend with Alabama, and that is when Texas decided to keep Mack around.

The timing of the way things unfolded suggest that Mack's fate was hinging on Saban's decision. That is why the meeting with the admin kept getting pushed back and he kept recruiting because the admin wasn't going to fire him if Saban went the other way. Very unlikely that Mack gets to decide when that meeting takes place.

So what you are saying is that Saban extended his march extension because he never wanted to go to UT?
