Or they don't know what Saban's thinking. Has he ever included boosters into his decision-making process when leaving schools before?
I know a lot of LSU boosters were surprised when Saban left for Miami (not shocked...they knew he wanted to go to the NFL eventually...but surprised, because he and the Mrs. didn't give them the impression they were leaving until the press conference).

Whoever said that current player trumps former player in regards to McCarron and Shipley, yeah you're an idiot, Shipley's dad is on staff at UT.

Serious question, at what point does each side bow out of the bidding war? For me, it's 8 mil and even that's ridiculous. I think it's definitely going to be at least 7 mil though regardless of which school he's at next year.

I think the internet needs a sarcasm font. I propose the inverse of italics. Just have the letters lean the other direction.

Someone posted on a tex board that his friend was at the gym with him and asked him about who the next coach would be, and he said they have saban locked up. he posted a pic of them together, metadata showed it was taken today but now the pic is gone... so idk.
