I think he has a point he wants to get across to Battle.

Yeah, I think it's obvious that Saban is listening but it's also equally obvious that (rumors aside) Texas hasn't made an offer that knocks his socks off.

The delay favors Alabama more than anything because it gives them time to sweeten their end and time for Saban to reflect whether he truly wants to do this.

I mean.. Why leave your current employer in the dark this whole time?

The silent treatment is very telling.

I agree. The homer in me wishes he would come out and just say he's here forever, sign a lifetime contract, buy a couple burial plots for he and Terry, but the realist in me understands that this is a HUGE job with a lot of upside. I'm just hoping his fears of the potential headaches there (too many cooks in the kitchen, etc.) outweigh his desire to have championships at 3 different schools.

You're not too good at picking up on lighthearted jokes. And that's why Saban is staying at Bama. It's your fault

So where is Mack today? Is he still recruiting or is he making his way back home?

That's hilarious. The guy hasn't traveled outside of Austin for recruiting and now he is "killing himself" over in Florida. If true...way too little too late.

You'll be welcomed with open arms at every Alabama tailgate, so that's a plus.

Essentially. I think he wants it to be like when Mal was the AD. He and Mal were friends, and Mal gave him everything he asked. He and Battle are not friends, and Battle has just treated him like any employee (according to internet rumors)

Hopefully BB comes to his senses. If Saban needs his arse kissed daily, then kiss his arse daily. If he leaves because of that, Bama will need a new AD too. It'll be Battle's life in danger, not Saban's

Saban can't accept the job until Mack is gone.

He's probably pissed that Mack is acting like a bitch; especially after 20 losses over the last 4 years.

You have to add up 10 years of Saban coaching at the collegiate level to hit 20 losses.
