Cmon Chad, dont point out the obvious to them. Let them think they are "winning"

Bama fans are going to try not to melt down. They are specifically going to make an effort not to melt down and say how much they love, respect, and appreciate what Saban has done for them, which is likely true.
But they are going to try and act like oh well, thanks for the time we will just get another coach and continue rolling. All so they can say look how much better we are than LSU fans, we are great we aren't. But on the inside they will be devestated
The best part will be the YouTube videos we get from all the sidewalk fans though
This is of course assuming he leaves :D
If he doesn't they will just say I told you so

Care very deeply? Meh. The task every year is to beat everybody in the SEC including Alabama whether Saban is there or not. So not so much.

So, three losses (including a three touchdown beatdown in T-Town) and almost another against a pathetic Arkansas team does not qualify as a decline to you?
We have a good shot at winning 10 games this year. That will never be a decline man.
Now, try to stay on topic please.

Naw, guys I hunted with use to hunt there before Wildlife Farms was built. Great area off the White River. Floods up the flats real easy and the ducks love this area.
I've been to the clubhouse for corporate meetings/dinners. Steak, grilled quail and open bar. That's what I remember.
Hunting and lodging use to cost $500/day. Not sure what their rate is now?

This thread is a giant melt when Saban stays.

The internet would break if he is truly gone

We need another flight to look at in between all this bickering. What high school kid is Saban lying to today?

How is that any different that what the rest of us will say if he goes? For 7 years they've been saying "he's going to retire here" and the rest of us have said "He Gone". Someone is going to be right, but not because we "knew" something. Someone will be right because those are the only two outcomes.
This and all message boards are predictable about Saban. What isn't predictable, though, is Saban himself.

I actually agree with much of that post.
If we're being real, the whole meltdown/u mad thing is pretty stupid.
Every fanbase melts down every time they lose a game.
"Something bad happened, and you're upset about it." No shite. Duh. Is that funny?

12 hours later, 70 pages later. It doesn't seem like I've missed any new info either. (Other than Mack and Bama AD) This thread is great.

I'm starting to feel sorry for them. It's almost like a kid that has been wanting a certain gift for christmas every year, only to be given something he desperately didn't want.
