i cannot disagree more. its been 5 years, he hasn't developed a single NFL-caliber lineman or done a thing in recruiting. the sooner hes gone, the sooner LSU gets better.

Getting guys to the NFL isn't the only thing, though.

When's the last time LSU had a legitimately bad line?

I look at this year, we lose 3 starters on the OL and were still good despite playing inexperienced guys and a guy that should never play LT. There were rough games in there, but by and large they played well.

And if not for an injury Faulk would have been a high pick. Collins will be too.

He's not a great recruiter but he did get Spencer Ware and a couple of others.

He's a good line coach. Lots of guys with as much as us do less. Being an OC just may be too big for him.

Let's talk about Cameron. Would you consider his scheme a pro-set scheme? I like it and I think he did well considering Flacco was always so hot and cold. Seemed that he would get a little out of whack not giving Rice as many carries as he should, but I don't think that would translate to LSU.

Does have some college experience (was head coach at Indiana).

Would be a good hire. Would fap.

would you be surprised to learn we havent had a rushing offense in the top 20 in the 5 years hes been the OL coach? and we've had some pretty good backs in that time.

2012: number 50 (173 ypg)
2011: number 22 (202 ypg)
2010: number 28 (185 ypg)
2009: number 90 (122 ypg)
2008: number 43 (166 ypg)

the other measurable OL stats are just as bad

tackles for loss allowed
2012: number 63 (5.69 pg)
2011: number 16 (4.50 pg)
2010: number 51 (5.46 pg)
2009: number 80 (6.23 pg)
2008: number 44 (5.46 pg)

sacks allowed
2012: number 89 (2.46 pg)
2011: number 25 (1.29 pg)
2010: number 58 (1.85 pg)
2009: number 108 (2.85 pg)
2008: number 45 (1.69 pg)

ill say it again, imo, he cant coach, he cant recruit, he's had his chance and now he needs to go.

Not sure that's enough evidence to pin entirely on the OL.

There's many reasons why our offense has sucked, but I wouldn't put poor OL play near the top.

I haven't really had any "thoughts" on the OC change. It picked up steam quickly and now nothing until the bash. I would put it at 80%. Down 5%. Still a good probability tho.

Just had a "thought"... And it's sucks. Unless something major happens LSU can forget about Priest Willis and Tahaan Goodman (who will visit on the 25th I think).

About Willis and Goodman.... Remember these guys are kids. And who knows what could happen. My "brain" doesn't have a good feeling about either of them. Infact my "brain" said we might have a better shot at nkemdiche
