It was only what it was because of 5 years of Saban who demanded excellence. And 3 years of Arnsparger. And 5 years of Dietzel. Other than that, it's been a bunch of "baws" who celebrate 7-4 type seasons and a close win over Ole Miss.
That is LSU football. Average. Well, it's 2016 and 100,000+ aren't filling the stadium on Saturday night to scream like crazy and talk about a loss to USC for the next 30 years like it was the greatest game ever. Those days are gone.
