Nice list. I’d add Kevin Mawae, analyst at Arizona State, LSU great as well.

Last years line wasn’t the best in the nation sorry. Joe ran for his life way to often and made plays. They were very adequate but not the best. Clyde’s spin move five yards behind the line helped a great bit also I think it is time to get another Oline coach.

vs
the Joe Moore voting committee is comprised of college football experts, especially people who played or coached the offensive line position, including all of the current offensive line coaches at the Division I/FBS level as well as former players, coaches, colleagues of Coach Moore and select media.

I would prefer KM or almost anyone in that impressive list over Cregg.
It should not be so difficult to land solid OL recruits.
By the way, is Cregg a barbecue buddy of Orgeron?

Landmanner is this not a site where you can voice your opinion?

Never mind the fact that PFF ranked LSU’s 2019 OL #30 or that football outsiders’ ranked them #49. Or that for the second year in a row, Cregg and O are scrambling to find OL recruits right after ESD. He just hangs his hat on that Moore award and that should settle it.

Jeff Quinn OL coach at ND. He can recruit, 247 has him ranked the 11th best recruiter in the country.

Would love to see what Ben could do! I forgot he was coaching!

I didn’t even know Ben Wilkerson WAS coaching, much less in the NFL. He was maybe the best center ever for LSU and an All American.
Does anyone know how he’s doing as a OL coach? How’s the Giants line look? Etc.

After looking at Ben’s resume, I completely forgot that he was the Remington Award winner (best collegiate center) and was undrafted. That’s crazy!
Other interesting fact from the Giants official website:
Ben Wilkerson is in his sixth season as an NFL coach and third as the Giants' assistant offensive line coach. He was one of the only coaches retained after a new head coach was hired.
The line helped Daniel Jones have the most productive season by a rookie quarterback in Giants history. (2019)
The offensive line was also pivotal in helping Saquon Barkley rush for 1,003 yards in 13 games
Prior to joining the Giants, Wilkerson spent three seasons as the Chicago Bears' assistant offensive line coach.
In 2014, he taught physical education and was an assistant football and track coach for North Shore Senior High School in Houston. (Interesting that he went from college coach to high school coach, THEN to the NFL!
In descending order, stints at Grambling, Pittsburgh Steelers, and LSU at various positions.

BS. If we are paying a million plus, he's coming.

he would probably come for a billion dollars too. That being said, we aren't paying a million plus or a billion for a OL coach.
