The problem was simply that Riley didn’t want to compete in the SEC, if he did, he would have just stayed at OU.

Do you disagree with the OP? Why else would he be going to USC other than playing in an even EASIER conference than the big 12 and getting an even easier path to the CFP? If he wasn't worried about the sec competition then why not stay at OU?
