I'm not a TG fan, I don't hate it but don't love it either. In fact, I'd rather Rich Rod

Petrino can't afford to take the PR hit of another job jump, then again he doesn't strike me as the type who gives a frick about his image

petrino tried to choke a dude out this past weekend so i think he's still bmfp at heart.

alleva won't go near him though.

todd graham is the one guy i think is realistically gettable while at the same time is not a step back for LSU.

rich rod has a nice set up at arizona and i would be shocked if he doesn't finish his career there.

gary patterson would be a monster at LSU but i doubt he leaves if tcu makes the playoffs.

Wife is from here, one of his daughters went here.

I think most saying his name are more joking from past years though

i do too, but i don't see us offering him (fanbase) and i don't think that's a realistic option. if he was, he'd be my #1

rich rod is a fricking awesome coach, though. it would be crazy to watch us run that 3-3-5 also

UL knows this, so they have him locked the frick down and he ain't going anywhere for a couple years at least

I think they'd want a coach with an offensive background

Do you really think Jimbo would come back after we hired Miles over keeping him??? I think he is a great guy and coach. But, bet we would never have a chance at him.

No one ever mentions his name, and I'm not certain how willing he is to leave his current job, but I have always liked Mark Dantonio.

I feel he has peaked at Michigan State. A successful Michigan hire could bring that program back to prominence, making it harder each year for Sparty to recruit and compete.

Dantonio is defensive minded, and has a rich history of developing players..he's got mid-level recruits beating top-end recruits on a yearly basis. He's got Sparty beating and competing with schools of unlimited resources like Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State.

Can you imagine the productivity he'd bring to the Louisiana talent base?

He's a great schemer and likes the philosophy of "Strong D", Rushing attack, control line of scrimmage; HOWEVER, he doesn't prop up the D in spite of the O. This year Sparty set school records for most points, total offense, offensive touchdowns and rushing touchdowns.

He would pacify all the people who loath mediocrity. He NEVER settles. He is a perfectionist who is constantly working.

Our last grab from Michigan State wasn't so bad, and this guy is cut from the same cloth.

Butch davis with a compliance officer attached to his belt loop.

Butch would bend the entire SEC over if given the chance.

Doubt that Miles leaves (Why should he? He's got Alleva wrapped around his finger), but if he did, this would be a solid hire, especially if you convinced him to keep Chavis around.
