Morris. And most on this board have been turning their nose up at him bc he hasn’t been HC at a P4 program yet. They rather let another team steal him because of fear of the unknown.

Drink or Heupel

Heupel isn't a "sexy" hire, but he consistently fields one of the best offenses in the SEC.

I know that people hate on Drink, but I'm very impressed with his ability to develop a running game.

In his 6 years he's had 3 RBs rush for over 1,600 yards (I'm including Hardy for this year since he'll easily get there considering Mizzou is starting a 3rd string QB and 1 of the games left is vs Arkansas).

A Mizzou RB has led the SEC in rushing in 3/6 seasons since Drink went to Mizzou.

2021: Tyler Badie, 3* recruit, 1,604 yards, 6.0 ypc, 14 TDs
2023: Cody Schrader, formerly unranked recruit, 1,627 yards, 5.9 ypc, 14 TDs
2025: Ahmad Hardy, transfer from ULM, unranked out of high school, 1,346 yards, 15 TDs, 6.8 ypc (leads SEC in yards and ypc)
