If he really wants to risk his health (his words), why would he choose auburn when better jobs will probably be out there if not this year, then most likely next year. Ohio St could open up this year, and USC most likely will open up next year. Why go to auburn now when he can wait a little while longer and get a top 5 job?
If he was in a hurry to get back into coach, he would've taken UF last year (which I'm sure he turned down). So why would he be in a hurry to jump to auburn when OSU could open up, and USC most likely will next year? It doesn't really make sense.

Auburn couldn't afford Bob Stoops with the buyout they'd have to pay Malzahn.
