On mobile so can't get link yet but UCLA has reportedly hired a new OC. Do we jump on Chow?

Hmm.. This is interesting. Never thought Chow would leave UCLA voluntarily. But lately haven't his offenses have been slipping. And isn't he pretty old now?

Not crazy about bringing in guys who have been fired.

As a Titans fan, Dear God no. Chow has lost it. Completely. He's terrible now.

he's been out for a few days now. and I'd take him.

unfortunately this looks like a hire Miles would go after

chow has been known as a guy who is pretty tough to work with. I doubt it
Posted on 1/12/11 at 4:42 pm to LivinGoodTiger
I don't think Chow/Miles would work since Miles likes to have a good chunk of control on the playcalling and such

He runs the pistol now.

Lane Kiffen isn't going to jump on him now?

I would not want to see LSU hire Chow as OC, but in all fairness to Chow the man has not had a decent QB to work with since he's been at UCLA.

he shouldn't have forced out Tate Forcier.

Not sure if true or not, but supposedly he doesn't like to recruit? Wouldn't it be better to find a good oc that is also a good recruiter?

1. Is that what happened? I hadn't heard that before.
2. Tate Forcier is a good QB? Are you serious?

Doesn't excuse his tenure with the Titans.

Not crazy about bringing in guys who have been fired.
some of the greatest coaches in the NFL & College were at one time or another released or fired...
Bill Belichick - Patriots
Pete Carrol - USC & Seahawks
Just to name a few.....
