Lincoln Riley and other candidates

Let’s think logically here. they just had an emotional loss. I don’t think he’s gonna say frick it I’m out. He’s going to push the envelope and up the ante . If ou doesn’t match then he can always say things changed.
He can’t take a job “he hasn’t been offered yet” he was supposed to be offered tonight/tmw morning . Until he signs an extension with ou he’s in play.
They weren’t pulling Mel Tucker and james Franklin numbers out the air. They knew what LSU was coming with. It might not be Lincoln but whoever it is is big enough to reset an entire coaching market contract wise.

Just because LSU is offering $12m to some candidates doesn’t mean it’s offering $12m to all candidates.

this has been my thing all along. he's young with young children, he lives fairly close to where he grew up.....and i just can't see him moving to BR

Why would he have a team meeting where a player asked if he was leaving.
He told the player not this year. Then a player asks what about next yr. He told them don't worry about next year and that a lot goes into personal decisions.

I’m telling you straight up that he’s gotten what he wanted out of OU and it wasn’t a dollar for dollar match of whatever LSU was willing to offer.
