He had to come out immediately in 07 to deny due to the SECC game.

When did he finally say he was staying at LSU in 2011? How long did that play out? I can't remember.

fail

any time someone starts a post with "lol wut" you can just disregard it as anything accurate or intelligent.

The speculation drug on for weeks and ESPN forced his hand that morning basically by reporting it a done deal.

He let the last one drag until Bass finished his new extension. I don't recall him making a statement did either until it was over. The 2007 deal was already over for him when he came out.

I guess some dont remember the pregame press conferences before the ole miss game and th arkansas game in 2007. Les was asked about the job multiple times those 2 weeks. He never squashed the rumor until his new deal was handed to him a few weeks later, the day of the sec champ game.

So you're saying that the day it was reported that Les was the new coach at Michigan he didn't immediately deny it? On the day of the SECCG?

I read the OP as Les denied the rumor of accepting the Michigan job immediately....which he did

That was one report. There were numerous speculative reports the week leading up to that. He didnt say no any of the weeks leading up to that when asked about it.
