According to a lot of folks there, Les took the LSU job about a half step ahead of T Boone firing him.

Years ago, I worked at a gym right across from the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze FL, so would randomly meet athletes who came just to work out on day passes, etc.
One day, this really big, out of shape looking guy comes in. I knew everyone of my members as far as regulars went, so this guy stood out. He said he was at Andrews dealing with knee issues. I sat him down to do his initial paperwork for his day pass, and noted he had an interesting watch. It was a Tag, but a pretty unique one. I mentioned it, and we start chatting, and it must have been football season because it came up. Point is this dude supposedly was a big time Okie State booster, owned several auto dealerships with Barry Sanders, etc. I will never forget what he told me about Les. He said he will probably be a good coach for you guys, but he isn't who you think he is. Cryptic and random I know, and don't really know why I posted this. CSB bro.
