in case you were wondering

quote:

"He wanted everyone to know that he is not interested in the Miami job," LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette said Wednesday after speaking to Miles. "He said he is full steam ahead for the national championship and not interested in any other job."

I was hoping for another "damned strong football team" press conference right before the game

Would you expect any other coach that is about to play for a national championship to say anything different?

ETA - I am not saying that he is interested btw.

But I'm not sayin he's not...

If he were legitimately interested, he just wouldn't respond while the talks went on out of the public eye, sorta like...

Miles didnt have to issue that statement. It's not like he was asked point blank in a room full of cameras.

If he was intrested, why not just ignore the rumors until he gets asked by the media, then deal with it then?

He aint leaving, sorry bama fans.

As a Dolphins fan I don't want Les in Miami. He is a great college coach but I don't think he would be succesful in the NFL.

He was talking about the Canes. It's a trick.
