Our fans grasping at straws/mouth-watering at the possibility LSU can finally land a top 50 coach.

We are all literally throwing out names of guys who don't eat grass or smash red bull cans on head.

Let's all just take a minute to not freak tf out and understand the likelihood LSU will only trend up after hire is made.

Last couple decades we had an OL coach at HC with terrible OLs and a DL coach at HC with below average DL

Let's just chill and maybe eat some Boudin

Coaches I see similar to Miles and Ole Shrimp boat. Get over paid and driven by fan base but will end up being hated by fans within 2 years.
= O’Brien, Tucker, Fickell Fisher, Day, Franklin, Stoops, Kelly & Fleck.

Build for the future Coaches you can build a brand around. Long term program builders.
= Riley, Aranda, Rhule, and Napier

Coaches that interest me but don’t want to overpay or over commit.
= Kendall Briles, Matt Campbell, Joe Brady

Coaches I think we hire.
Tucker, Franklin, Aranda or Joe Brady.

Many of the coaches you named at the very least bring an identity to either side of the ball

In doing that we won't have to change entire playbooks bi-yearly on both sides while being sole cause of massive inflation on Coordinator pay scales in all of CFB

One question….where has Choctaw been through out this Coaching Changes Board 2021? It’s just not the same!

For all his faults it is ridiculous to put Les Miles and O in the same category. Les Miles had arguably the best tenure of any head coach in the history of the program. O had one great season on the back of a generational QB other than that season he’s basically Gerry Dinardo.

Good point yet Orgeron recruited the players for and coached arguably the best cfb team of all-time.

I still do this day consider Les Miles a below average coach. He used the wholesome image to his advantage but regardless couldn't coach

Yes but,

The DL's OLs were worse than the OL's DLs.
