Amen, Brother!
Time to move on, if that's what it comes to.
I'll say one thing; if Miles bolts to UM, I really think the entire coaching profession will take a hit and schools will start dealing with contracts in a different way.

that whole scenario seems very plausible. If in fact Mich has not hired a coach by Jan 8, I can see this happening, IF LSU is smart enough to have Del Rio locked up ahead of time. Miles staying or Del Rio coming, either way I think its good news for LSU. As to the destruction of Miles reputation, if he leaves, who cares, that becomes a problem for Mich, not us! Geaux Tigers

Yeah, I said this 2 weeks ago when all the hype was going on. I was just kidding - I hope.

Let me be the 20,384th person to say that this rumor poster is full of shite.

This is just another hate monger throwing garbage onto the internet.

Hey, I can do that too.

I just heard from my friend in the Miles to Michigan Mafia that it has been pre-arranged that Les Miles won't be coaching at either Michigan or LSU next year. He will accept the Republican Party nomination for President of the United States. He won't be going to another college, he'll be going to Washington.

Since I first heard this I spoke with several people in the Administration in Washington who said it is a done deal.

Scoop, I have the same feeling. I will feel differently if we start hearing DC rumors in the next week or so and/or Michigan hires a coach. Miles has been pretty up front but has very carefully chosen his wording. He keeps saying he will coach at LSU NEXT YEAR and that would not be a lie if he leaves after the NC game. Think about this. Both LSU and Miles want a National Championship. It's obvious why LSU wants it but Miles NEEDS it on his resume'. I'm not saying he is leaving but the Michigan search at this point almost seems like a smoke screen. I think it will work out for LSU if he stays or leaves.
