If he's tampering with his own rosters to get guys to transfer it seems like it'd be pretty easy to get somebody to rat on him.

Exactly, because he's not building a staff at LSU.

He will use it any success as a launchpad for his LSU recruiting. I suspect a few offensive players will follow him regardless but if the shoe were on the other foot, LSU fans would understand that you can't do it.

Not really man. I understand you can't predict when special seasons will come and go so let it ride. Ole Miss gets to claim that success, however far it goes. Y'all get to keep whatever hardware results

I get it, I just think the benefits of having the same coach lead your team through the playoffs are greater than the risk that he snatches some players.

It's one class vs a chance at a national championship.

It's kind of a women is divorcing his husband for another man but repeatedly asking for sleeping another night.
It's time to wrap up and leave, Lane.

If he was going to the NFL, sure. Let him finish the job. Going to your rival that you play every year? No program would tolerate that. Imagine Saban leaving Bama to go to Tennessee. Would Bama let him finish the season? Of course not.
