Will be in town tonight for episcopal vs Newman. Obviously to check out Arch play, wonder if woody has had any contact with him as well.

I will say Kiffin and his agent talked with Woodward mid October. Woodward said we are not interested. He did not feel confident in Lane staying long term.

stupid if true. if Lane came to LSU the only place he would leave for would be Bama or the NFL. In both cases that would mean he did great at LSU. I'll take it.

I mean he hasn't stayed anywhere long but he wouldn't leave LSU unless fired right? Where would he go? I just think Woody wants a "grown up" running this program. Kiffen the coach is the premier CFB OC. Coupled with the right DC at LSU, I think he would be stellar(if he could just mind his personal actions better)
