I could give a shite if he carries a bat and hides mouse traps. Why do you?

All I want is a good offense, if he can do that he can hide all the mousetraps he wants and I won't say shite.

If it weren't for mouse traps and BBQ I have no idea what this board would talk about.

I remember watching them on ESPN a couple of times in '07 and the offense was very efficient. As you say the defense was pathetic. People in Tulsa really liked his play-calling. If Les goes there I'll be happy to see how it plays out.

His biggest problem at UL is that I don't think he ever Kentucky, which is there ENTIRE season.

Seriously, I'm sorry the post was so long, but the situation there was rather complicated and could not have been explained in a couple of sentences.

You shouldn't apologize to assholes. If they are too lazy or illiterate to read stories that pertain to their "supposed" favorite football team, then they shouldn't be on a forum in the first place.

But regardless, their lack of want to read should not induce an apology for your want to post.

BTW, thanks for the insight. Good read.

Well...I wouldn't say it's their ENTIRE season, but it's a obviously a major game. Krags lost all three games, but two of them were close. The Cards would have won in '07 if the D had been decent (even with the piss poor D, they only lost on a last second long TD pass...think Iowa in the Cap One bowl), and they were leading late in '09 until a fumbled punt led to a late UK TD. In '08 they got blown out.

Gotta agree with the OP in his assessment with Krags. Also have to add that there were HUGE HUGE differences in coaching philosophies and player management between Petrino (his UofL predecessor) and Kragthorpe which led to some major road bumps. That IMO was a big part of his undoing as a HC there, along with getting stuck with legacy hires like the Brohms.

After that disappointing first year and the hostile reaction of the fan base, Krags never could seem to get his bearings.

If he falls apart from a hostile reaction from the fans, then we are all f8cked if he comes here. Just sayin.

I would have preferred a OC that locked JJ's arse in a dark closet.

Unless Mett. breaks JJ's legs during spring ball, you'd better get used to JJ as 'da man' in 2011.
