May not be as good on paper but those guys are total jerks. at least Krags could be the good guy to recruits. If he is successful his first year will be big.

I'd really feel better about this hire if prominnentwon would endorse it. He went to McNeese so he is obviously the smartest guy in any room.

Would be nice to have someone on staff who can recruit Texas worth a damn again.

From a coaching standpoint...
1. Weiss
2. Krags
3. Malzahn

fair enough, but if he doesnt pull a single recruit from texas but puts a good offense on the field, i'll be ok

if that ranking were true Kragthorpe could match one of his aTm yearly yardage totals in one game against a Chavis defense

I'll take a guy who has a history of developing quarterbacks at the collegiate and nfl level over a guy who runs a total gimmick offense centered around Cam Newton.

where would Malzahn be without Cam Newton

Yeah, i wasn't really impressed with Malzahn in 2009. I think his offense looked brilliant this year, because Cam is perfect for it. But if you have a athletic quarterback they can still be good. Just not unstoppable. Honestly look at the lsu game. There offense din't win because of scheming. Cam newton went off on us.

having a dominant running game, like he had at arkansas
or
having a dominant passing game, like he has at tulsa

why is this garbage repeated over and over?
Auburns offense was good last year too, fwiw. It's been phenomenal at every single school he's coached at.
