He would probably leave us with our pants down if Georgia ever offered him but it would be as close to a Saban hire as any. He has worked with Saban more than any other coach has. Again, I really would rather an offensive coach, just adding another name.

He's a good cadidate but i'd certainly take malzhan first and he would jump if we offered. Also very strong feelings out of UGA is that he has burned a lot of bridges there and likely will never be offered that job unless some of the people in charge go away.Don't really know how true it is but they talk about it a lot.

100% Saban
0% Kirby
Saban is a control freak.
Kirby has learned plenty I'm sure but no way he calls the play or develops schemes..

If go we go on D and its not a head coach, Id want Ron Cooper. I know it might be to early for him to be a head coach.

I doubt Alabama would pay Kirby Smart 700,000 to do nothing but sit on his arse. Its Saban's schemes but Im sure that Kirby calls the plays during the games. Maybe certain key situations Saban might intervene, but watching Saban from the sidelines he does not call the plays.

There was an article that schlabaugh had last year about smart winning the next ship for lsu.

I remember that. It was how they think the SEC will look in 10 years and they had Kirby Smart as our head coach.
