This guy has trolled the hell out of Ole Miss, Florida, and LSU in this coaching search. I doubt comments like this are any less calculated.
Which university will be the first and dumb enough to dish out 20 million per year so Lane can get lazy on the job? He's absolutely coming out of this as the highest paid coach in the country the question is who's dumb enough to give it? It might not be 20 million per but he will be the highest paid.

He'd always be second to Saban, Spurrier, etc. does he want to be the man at an SEC school like Ole Miss, or another Spurrier
No offense, but being the man at Ole Miss doesn't really matter to the rest of the college football world. Being the man at LSU and Florida usually garners national attention. It's not necessarily fair. It just is what it is.

This is a clear message to find out what Florida and LSU player pools are now and in the future to gain a competitive advantage and get more donor money at Ole Miss in my opinion. This is a big nothing burger.

My point is he likely won't be the man at either. Just "the next Spurrier" or "the next Saban". Never "Lane Kiffin".

Lane can come here and do what no other coach has done.....win 2 natties!
Plenty of legacy left to still go around here in da Bayou :)

the next Saban
Les Miles had a more successful LSU tenure than Saban. LSU has never had a coach win multiple natties. I don’t think he comes to LSU but he could easily be the legendary GOAT here.
