I dunno if I'm totally done, but my confidence is quite low. I think he probably has a ceiling of an 8-9 win coach every year. With what we've committed to the football program I feel like we can and should do better than that. Barring a bad off field scandal though he will be back next year. If we finish 8-4 though I do think next year will be make or break for him

just read about his buyout

I agree though that y'all have all the other pieces there. facilities are top notch, awesome stadium, talent rich state, etc

His buyout is the remainder of the contract...or $20 million if he's fired after 2015.

Regardless he is sitting pretty

Shane, does UT's struggles keep heat off of Sumlin to a certain extent?

I'm praying that someone bails us out of that contract,

Why? You Aggots are rich. Y'all can afford that every year.

No, in fact I think it puts more pressure on him. A lot of fans see this as the time to strike and contend and we aren't taking advantage of it. Because we don't play them the old folks can't point to his head to head record over them also

Yep and we intend to stay that way but not blowing that kind of money.

If he were smart, he'd go while he has a little leverage.

His stock is steadily dropping
