If true, would be an amazing get? Unfortunately, SWAC schools are severely under funded, but PV has decent facilities, comparatively.

PVU actually has a nice campus and stadium (right off 290). It’s like utopia compared with Southern or Texas Southern.

Agree, tho Mumford is pretty nice with the recent upgrades. Lee Hines could be nice again with much needed upgrades.

Why do some of y'all Sumlin to PV so much? He drove Arizona into the dirt in record time.

He is an absolute waste of a coach. What he did at AZ should make him have a permanent ban from coaching ever again. A fraud and a drunk.

I heard he was interviewed for the UL job and the stuff at Az came out. Said he really wanted the job and instead they choose to hire a guy with no experience over him, that speaks volumes.

Southern is about to go through a 800 million campus renovation. Football will get a indoor practice facility and new ops center

Well to be fair, Arizona is in the dirt and has been for a long time. No upper ADMIN support at all there. Basketball has always been the star program there.

in the 6 years of Rich Rod before him AZ went 8-5, 8-5, 10-4, 7-6, 3-9, 7-6.
Sumlin came in, had a dark horse Heisman candidate at QB w/Khalil Tate, and proceeded to go 5-7 (lost to BYU, blown out by Houston), 4-8 (lost to Hawaii), 0-5 (finished off 2020 w/a 70-7 home loss to ASU).
