Been knowing Neal Brown for years and believe he is the perfect candidate to lead Troy. He threw his name in the Southern Miss job last year but came up short. Really good recruiter...

Stoops officially said "goodbye" to Coach Brown today in his release. Troy is set to announce him as HC tomorrow.

I don't know if there's any salt to it, but there's been mention of Cinci OC Eddie Gran as well. He worked with Stoops and Co. at Florida State. I don't know if he leaves Tuberville though as they've both been together at multiple stops.
