well, the only other coach making that amount of money in the West went 16-0 in the SEC over the previous two years so I guess he can get a pass. Thats 8 games better than Les if you are keeping track at home.

IMO, anytime u get to Atlanta is a good thing.

Dude stop. Your constant Miles bashing is tiresome. Give us a break. Please
Why? he knows every other coach in the country would have gone undefeated at LSU during Les's tenure.
He can't accept the fact that the sky didn't fall and even god like coaches like Urbs and Nick lost more games than Les this year.

unless he never got a Rollover, which I somehow doubt since you and your sources claimed he'd be owed $11+ million AFTER this season to be bought, it means he got it at least once. Somehow, this isn't in the minutes. Refusal of it also happened then according to your number, which means that also wasn't in the minutes.
There are no minutes. NASA man unilaterally extended it with a simple memo before he left, just like the simple memo he did to extend contract to 2012.

So he gets a pass after blowing a 24 pt. lead against Bama's biggest rival?
He has been known for blowing leads late in big games at LSU you know. Now you're seeing it at Bama.

His memo was for the 2008 season. NASA man was out of job after the first year of this contract because he was worthless.
Nice try though. He can't unilaterally change his contract which can only be rolled over a total of twice up to 2014. That is when the contract ends and a new contract would be required.

What does firing your coach after finishing the season #10 in the nation with wins over both Urban Meyer and Nick Saban do for you? More harm than good.
I'd like an answer for that as well.

Oh and I'm sure if LSU blew a lead v Au like Nick did you'd have given him a pass.

Ah, gotcha. Throw out the facts against your arguments and stick to what happened in the pass.
As long as we're living in the past..

Anyone calling for Les to be fired is just stupid. He's won enough games despite driving many LSU fans to heart conditions this year to have this not even be an afterthought.
His contract, on the other hand, is total BS and should not be reworked unless it cuts his guaranteed money. Period.

what part of that is confusing you?
2008
Alabama 8-0
LSU 3-5
5games
2009
Alabama 8-0
LSU 5-3
plus 3 more = 8
2010
Auburn 8-0
LSU 6-2
plus 2 more, i know you can get this. Keep at it.

The approval wouldn't have to be made by the BOS, but it would still be required to be acknowledged as they are required to put out any changes in the contracts. It's that simple.
That's not accurate. It is not a contract change. It is an addendum in memo form. I have the contract and earlier memo in front of me. It is posted on the internet, I believe by CNNSI. There are no minutes for the addendum.

...and got blown out in a BCS game vs. a Non AQ. Then went on to lay an egg with 3 losses after being picked to win another national championship and the SEC once again. All the while, blows a 24 point lead to your rival at home.
He's impeccable, I know....right?

The boards will certainly be entertaining when this occurs.

Wasn't confusing, but who frick uses that as a metric to judge a coach?

I said Miles more than earning his $4 mill by finishing 3rd in the division was laughable. How did this morph into "explain why you done gonna fire him, meanie?" Typical posi-tiger twisting the arguments.
