I don't think he's going anywhere. But, if he does, it sounds like Ellis Johnson would be the best available, based on popular opinion.

And given that poster's record you can safely assume that the rumor is false or that he is coattailing the rumor so he can claim to be an insider if it comes to pass.

It ain't that bad, just something negative about Miles, so I am not going to post it...it's just a rumor anyways..no use piling on...and it's not consistent with the other rumors...

believable but, inconsistent with the family reasoning...

guy on tsd says they disagree on how to run practices. And does actually make sense when it comes to what I've heard in the past about how Miles runs practice

complaint was that Miles works players too hard in practice as I recall.

Can y'all just spill it or send me an email? I mean, why even post something like that? It's the "I know something, but I'm not telling". Kind of lame.

Rumor is that Miles runs practice until the players drop. Chavis and him have disagreed how the practice should be run. Chavis will not run his players dead and then have dead legs on game day.

It would make sense given what happened during the Bama game. Just because they practice hard doesn't mean they practice smart.

Just scooted on over to TSD and read this. I've heard this about Miles as well.

FWIW I have heard that as well. I have heard Miles has also actually toned it back from year's past. So this rumor would not be out of the ordinary IMO.

Old school mentality though. Run em like dogs, put em through hell makes them "tougher." Not always a bad thing, just gotta find the balance.
