My gut tells me the new hire could be Doug Pederson. I do not have any inside sources but I do believe Doug will be coaching next year. LSU or LA Tech could be my guesses. If it is Pederson, would they wait on the announcement until after the season since he is not under contract with anyone?

Just a thought.

No. It would make zero sense to wait to announce the hire. It isn’t going to be Pederson.

Pederson has stated that he wants to be in the NFL.He is taking this year to get himself ready for another job in the NFL. Pederson will not be at LSU or LA Tech or any other college.

No one said we were battling LA Tech. If LSU wants a Super Bowl winning coach and he is on the list then he would not even consider Tech. But if LSU is showing no interest then he might consider LA Tech. I don't know if LSU has even considered him.

Instead of being a wise arse, recognize that a Super Bowl winning coach may be in consideration. Do you really think LSU would have to "Battle" LA Tech if LSU offered? Not a chance.
